‘Zen Dogs’

‘Zen Dogs’ made‘s USA holiday book guide as one of their top recommended ’28 books for everyone on your list’. It’s in great company with authors like Bruce Springsteen, Joan Rivers and Stephanie Meyers, and as for ‘101 chillies to try before you die’ … challenge accepted. 😅 #ZenDogs

I recently worked with an agency in the United Kingdom on the latest Lintbells campaign collateral, which promoted their dog calming product YuCALM. Here are two of the images released so far as full page advertisements and social media banners. Love jobs like these!

In great news for ZEN fans, ‘Zen Dogs’ just reached number one for sales on in the “Zen Philosophy” category. Unreal! So many kind people are telling us they love the vibe of these meditative pooches and are finding solace in the pages of the book. What a wonderful gift the ‘Zen Dogs’ are giving us.

In this tumultuous world, we could all do with a little more ZEN in our lives. For many of us, dogs are our closest animal companions, and their mere presence can increase our cardiovascular health, help us stay active, and reduce loneliness.

‘Zen Dogs’ by Alex Cearns showcases over 80 chilled canines, each one looking relaxed and happy – which is exactly how we feel when we’re around dogs.

No matter where you live, you can add some ZEN to your day by ordering your copy of ‘Zen Dogs’ ‘via at

Huge heartfelt thanks to everyone who came along tonight to the at FurBaby Boutique & Cafe. You were all so patient waiting in line and so kind and generous with your well wishes. I adored seeing so many old friends, and meeting lots of new ones. What a great vibe and an unforgettable night which was so much fun. I appreciate every one of you very much. Big loves from me to all of you!

Thanks to the talented Julie K Photography, who was our event photographer. She put everyone at ease and worked so hard to document the evening. Please check out her work on FB, it’s beautiful. Thanks Jules!

Thanks to the wonderful Shari and her team at Fur Baby who were instrumental in ensuring everything ran smoothly and for providing us with an incredible space. This is why you run such a brilliant pet cafe, loved by the community!

To Jane and Stephanie (my awesome security) from Beaufort Street Books and Theresa from HarperCollins Books Australia for supporting the launch and assisting on the signing table – you made everything so easy and were fabulously organized. True professionals!

And last but not least, to my dedicated Team Houndstooth – Deb, Colleen, Talita and Dave. You worked hard from start to finish and brought with you your amazing attitudes and humour. I couldn’t have done it without you. You all elevate everything we do!

I’m feeling very blessed at response to ‘Zen Dogs’ and for the incredible local support it’s receiving in Australia. Thank you!!! Xxx
