Every Thursday as of 17th May will be horse photo day, with images captured off site and using natural light. We will also be growing our HH team to include an additional horse photographer! Watch this space for details.

March Special Offer – For The Young And Old
We love pets of all ages at Houndstooth Studio, but felt it was time to offer something for the little ones and the golden oldies. For the month of March, our studio pet photo sessions for young and elderly pets are just $45 - a saving of over 50% on our usual session fee. Bargain!!
Here are the qualifying criteria:
- Available for all pets aged 20 weeks or younger or 10 years and older – proof of age may be required (vaccination certificate will suffice)
- Appointments must be booked in March for sessions taken during March
- Covers up to two pets from the same household
- If one pet meets the age criteria and the other doesn’t you can still take advantage of this offer
- Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer
- This discount applies to the photo session fee only - prints and products are not reduced
- This offer applies on a “first come first served” basis for a limited number of available appointments in March
- Once booking capacity is reached no additional bookings will be taken
- All pets who visit the studio under this offer qualify for free registration to Houndstooth Pet Models

Houndstooth Pet Models (HPM)
LAUNCH! LAUNCH! LAUNCH! Due to the increasing number of requests we are receiving for commercial animal photo sessions, including the sourcing of animal talent, combined with the number of amazing animals we meet on a daily basis, we are excited to announce the opening of Houndstooth Pet Models (HPM).
There’s just one catch – only existing Houndstooth Studio animal clients can qualify to register with HPM. This is so we can vouch for the way your pet works within our studio in front of lights and a photographer. It’s also an extra special ’thankyou’ for our clients. Plus, registration is FREE! Another reason to choose Houndstooth Studio for your pet pics!
We are currently logging all interested pets on our database and will be finalising our website with HPM info very soon. And YES, if your pet is selected for a modelling job, you get paid in cash, photos, or pet products!! Who wants in?!!!

Calling Sydney Pet Owners
Houndstooth Studio is coming to Sydney!! Direct from Perth, we are putting the feelers out to Sydney pet owners who may be interested in signing up for one of our special offer pet photo session packages.
The studio pet photo sessions will be for up to two pets from each household, and will take 1- 2 hours each to conduct. We will be using the facilities of a photo studio within inner-Sydney and are looking to come over on 24th, 25th & 26th September 2010.
We have four fabulous packages on offer for Sydney residents, with savings ranging from $295 to $905! We are offering prints, canvas prints and aluminium mounted prints as part of the packages. My Dog Daisy
This is Daisy, my 11 year old cocker spaniel (with a recent haircut!). Last week some new equipment was installed in the studio and Daisy volunteered to stand in for some shots when I tested it all! She is ALWAYS happy…and ALWAYS looks has this expression on her face!

Our Recent Studio Visitors
This is old soul Jake, best friend to Deb. He is almost 14 years young and is such a gentle and kind dog. I really see his poise and elegance shine through in these two photographs.
Two adorable dogs – Gilly the papillion cavalier and Jasper the maltese shitzu. Little Jas looks like a puppy but in actual fact she’s 12! She has the most fabulous haircut and gorgeous big black eyes which you could just fall into. And Gilly loves his hugs and cuddles and rolling around on his back.
This is Nasa, who is possibly the best behaved one year old dog I’ve ever come across. Being totally black, she looks stunning on my black background, and I’m so glad her owners Dave and Ceri love this shot as much as I do!
Want to hear one of the best dog names ever? This is Magnet Roy and he travelled all the way from Port Hedland to have photos taken in the studio! A miniature black schnauzer, he was a delight to photograph! Thanks to Sara and Ron for bringing him to Perth for his shoot!
