Alex is at ease in front of the camers. She is a regular presenter of a featured animal segment called ‘Animal Extra with Alex Cearns’ on the Perth-based television show ‘The Couch’ (aired nationally on Foxtel Australia’s Aurora channel). She conducts interviews with invited guests on animal related matters and is sometimes interviewed herself by host Fred Mafrica. She also often appears as a panelist on the show’s humorous ‘BitchN’ segment.

Alex has appeared in on Channel 7’s ‘Weekend Sunrise’ and ‘Today Tonight’ programs in Perth and Adelaide, Channel 10’s ‘Studio 10’ program, on state and local news in Western Australia and Tasmania, and in RSPCA WA, Tamron Australia, Guide Dog WA, The WA Pet Project and Team Digital online promotional videos.

Her 2013 visit to Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary was captured on film by Gary Rhodes (independent) and Joe Shemesh (Stormfront Films).
